The Manu O Kū Festival is an annual event usually held in May to coincide with the US Migratory Bird Treaty Act. The Festival takes place on the stately Coronation Grounds of ‘Iolani Palace, and founded by a partnership with Conservation Council for Hawai‘i, and the National Wildlife Federation, and includes festival sponsors Hawaii Audubon Society, the Hui Manu-o-Kū, and the Pacific Rim Conservation. Conservation groups, educators, and others are invited to share games and activities that will engage participants of all ages in learning about the Manu O Kū. This year’s event will take place on April 27, 2024, and is free and open to the public. Additional details for this year’s gathering will be shared here as they become available.
